Clermont Performing Art Center’s Mainstage is a wonderful contribution to the Community of South Lake County. The facility is home to legendary acts such as bluegrass, comedy, and Broadway, and has also hosted legendary stars from the worlds of theater, film, and television. The 1000-seat theater is the largest in Lake County and yet provides an intimate environment that is unmatched.
The Black Box Theater at Clermont Performing Art Center has hosted some of the most acclaimed comedians in the country. This theater seats 245 people and offers all the benefits of a downtown comedy club without having to leave your backyard.
Is Clermont Performing Arts Center always open to the public? The theater is closed to the public unless there is an event. However, the Clermont Arts & Recreation Center, where we are located, offers many senior and recreational programs daily.

How can I become a Clermont Performing Arts Center volunteer? During the offseason, we often add new volunteers to our roster. Each applicant must fill out a City of Clermont Volunteer Application and submit to background checks.
What is the Code of Conduct for theaters? Clermont Performing Art Center is committed in providing an enjoyable and safe environment for all. All guests are asked to respect others. Any guest who disrupts the enjoyment of others during events is subject to removal from the building. It is also forbidden to stand on any theater seats, other structures, or in aisles or doorways. We reserve the right not to ask you to leave if you do not comply.

For guest services at a performance, who can I contact? Any guest requiring assistance should contact an usher. The situation will be dealt with as discreetly and quickly as possible. Any disruptive member of the audience may be asked to leave by the House Manager without refund.
What should I do if my tickets are stolen or lost? Please contact the Box Office if your tickets were stolen or lost. We are happy to reprint your tickets.
What happens if I arrive late to my event? Latecomers will be refused entry and may be given alternative seating depending on the rules and regulations of the production. It is your responsibility to ensure that you arrive on time so that your show can begin.
What are the prohibited items in the theatre? Prohibited items include all weapons, such as pocket knives, large bags, backpacks, outside food, beverages, drugs, laser pen, costume masks and makeup, laptops, tablets and video cameras, DSLR cameras and tripods, as well audio recording devices and selfie sticks.
What is your exchange and refund policy? Except for cancellations or reschedules, there are no exchanges or refunds for any performance. Tickets purchased from unlicensed sources are not recommended as they could be counterfeited or stolen and may be null.
Are you able to hire sign language interpreters? Performers can request sign language interpretation upon advance notice. For performances on the Mainstage Theater, assistive listening devices are also available. To obtain these devices, please contact the Box Office or an Usher before the show begins.
What is your smoking policy The Clermont Performing Arts Center is a smoke-free campus. The building is strictly prohibited from smoking or the lighting of matches, lighters or other flammable items. E-cigarettes are also prohibited.
What are the Box Office Hours? The regular hours for the Box Office are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. The Box Office is also open two hours prior to each performance.
How do I purchase tickets for Clermont Performing Arts Center events? Tickets can be purchased at the Box Office during normal business hours, or online through the Buy Tickets button on every page of our website.
Are you able to offer group discounts? For groups of 10 or more, the Clermont Performing Art Center offers a 10% discount on each ticket. You must purchase tickets for the same event in one transaction.
If tickets are available at Will Call. What time and where can they be picked up? Tickets for Will Call can be picked up at any time the Box Office is open. They can also be picked up at the Box Office if you arrive prior to your performance.
If purchased tickets for a show that was canceled or rescheduled, how can someone get their money back. Tickets ordered for cancelled performances will be refunded to the original credit card. The City of Clermont will issue a check to all checks and cash orders. The City of Clermont will honor tickets for rescheduled performances. Please contact the Box Office if you are unable attend the new date after it has been announced. Credit card refunds will take approximately 3-5 business days to reach your account. Processing refunds that require a paper check can take up to three working days.

Is there a dress code for Clermont Performing Arts Center? Although there is no formal dress code for the theater, we recommend business casual attire for most performances.
What is the policy on photo? It is strictly forbidden to use audio or visual equipment. The use of video cameras, tripods and recording devices, as well as DSLR cameras, is strictly prohibited inside the theater.
What type of food and beverages are available during performances. The main lobby is open for drinks, including water, and light snacks. To keep the theater clean, we ask that you dispose of your trash in the appropriate receptacles.
Is there an age limit for the theater? The Clermont Performing Art Center’s age appropriateness is determined by the performance. Parents can choose to bring their children to the Clermont Performing arts Center. Children 2 years and older must have their ticketed seats.
Is there parking available near the theater? Parking is free in the lots to the south and north of the theater. As marked, handicap spaces are also available.
Is Clermont Performing Arts Center accessible for wheelchair users? Our building is ADA compliant and has easy access for wheelchairs. There is also ample stair-free seating available, as well as plenty of wheelchair-accessible parking spaces.
